The Solar Proposal Writer will ensure all solar proposals meet the company’s high standards of quality. The ideal candidate has the ability to learn new skills quickly, is good with numbers, and is efficient on the computer with programs like Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities for Solar Proposal Writer include but are not limited to:
· Drafting of rooftop solar systems on residential properties
· Entering customer info into databases
· Proofreading and editing the finished proposals and presenting management with a draft for review
· Produce solar proposals
· Correspond timely to sales reps and managers via phone and email
· Rewriting proposals due to adjustments
· Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, etc.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external teams
· Administrative tasks as needed
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position of Solar Proposal Writer:
· Solar/Renewable energy experience is highly preferred.
· Strong interpersonal/communication skills
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Ability to adapt to change quickly and solve real-time problems
· Capable of collaborating and communicating with field sales teams
· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Work Hours:
The Proposal room is open from 7:00am - 10:00pm PST, although we do have some proposal writers working until 11:00pm PST.
