Software Quality Assurance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA.
• Preferably from securities, banking, fintech, investment, or financial services industries.
• Have experience in T24 / AS400 is a plus.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Able to create test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Experienced with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Qase/TestRail, Postman, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of API testing and system integration flow.
• Actively using English in daily work, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to understand application requirements.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity by executing SQL queries against databases.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect-tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
• Perform cross-browser, compatibility, and usability testing where applicable.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and quality status updates.
• Ensure software meets functional requirements, quality standards, and business expectations before release.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support release validation and production testing when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, testing efficiency, and overall software quality.
