Description
Yourpay is a digital payment and a super mobile application whose mission is to empower and boost financial inclusion and literacy of Indonesian migrant workers overseas and their families at home
Position Summary
As a Software QA Engineer at Yourpay, you'll take the wheel in designing, testing, and rolling out new features for our platform. You'll get to design more effective and innovative ways to break software, identify weak points in the current systems, and devise solutions to bolster these features from the inside out. Working closely with the Product team, including their PMs, designers, developers, and other QA talents, you'll help the team establish stellar software design, promote proper engineering practices, bolster bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across application areas of our product and services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product team (including PMs, designers, and developers) from the inception of features; design new and enhance existing test suites based on business requirements
- Define Acceptance Criteria & Testing strategy with Product Owner / Manager, and help clarify the business requirement. Provide feedback of testing experience to Product Owner
- Create test case scenario, especially Identifying & Capturing complex and negative test scenario
- Report & document any bugs found, and test case results
- Work together with Product Team to write unit test cases, discuss the test criteria and, to create the best acceptance test case
- Ensure the User Acceptance Test case fulfills all the acceptance criteria before the product can go live
- Analyze and suggest improvements for the testing process/tools/technologies
- Work vertically on each feature to test the server-side business logic and the user experience and flows on UI (Mobile Application).
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data sets and test environments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in QA automation and share knowledge with the team.
- This position is a hybrid QA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system or engineering
- At least 1 years of experience in professional testing
- This position requires FULL WORK FROM OFFICE. Our office location is in Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat.
- Experience with some open source and/or online QA automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Appium, RESTAssured, Cucumber, TestNG, Testrail is a BIG PLUS
- Basic understanding of Postman, REST/SOAP and API Testing
- Familiarity with coding languages like Java (preferably)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
