Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers to deliver project requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and security.
- Support deployment activities and follow established CI/CD processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.
- Stay updated with Laravel, PHP, and related technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP development, including at least 2 years of experience using Laravel.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with Docker and modern deployment practices.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Pest is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus.
