Software Engineer (Fullstack Developer)

Who we are
1ENGAGE builds an omnichannel messaging platform that helps businesses talk to their customers on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. We’re growing the team and adding real-time calling (WhatsApp Call) next.
What you’ll do
- Build features end to end, from React UI to Go APIs, for our Admin Portal and Tenant Portal
- Create scalable Go services behind our API Gateway
- Work on real-time livechat and Kafka event-driven workflows
- Integrate WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta APIs
- Handle multitenant challenges: subdomain routing, JWT/SSO, RBAC and tenant data isolation
- Help shape our upcoming WhatsApp Call pipeline
You might be a great fit if you have
- 3+ years of experience, with strong TypeScript and React
- Hands-on Go backend experience
- Experience with React Query, Zustand or similar state management
- Familiarity with microservices and Kafka (or similar)
- Experience with external APIs and webhooks
- A clean code mindset
- Hands-on experience with AI agentic coding workflows (e.g. Claude Code with skill libraries like obra/superpowers or Matt Pocock’s skills)
Bonus points
Multitenant SaaS, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Harbor), Grafana/HyperDX, ClickHouse, Monaco/Draft.js/react-dnd, high-traffic systems, chat or omnichannel experience.
