Job Description:
- Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance for one of the world’s fastest-growing companies in proptech (property technology)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mobile, DevOps, UX, QA etc.) on planning and execution
- Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design
- Building and managing automated build/test/deployment environments
- Research new technologies and tools
- Pair with team members on functional and non-functional requirements and spread
- Design philosophy, goals, and improve the code quality across the team
Requirements:
- Min 1 year of relevant software development experience and hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on Laravel large-scale applications
- Proficient in PHP, Laravel, OOP, SQL, Design Pattern
- Experience in relational databases management, performance/resource optimizations, database interactions, network programming, concurrency and multithreading, fault tolerance, monitoring, security, and operability of systems
- Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate, and execute releases with a good degree of predictability
- Well-versed with Agile methodologies, TDD, test Engineering, and alleviate dependency risks
- Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks etc.
- Prior experience with distributed systems and messaging is a must
- Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design
