We build high-performance, business-critical systems and are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead multiple engineering teams and drive successful software delivery.
The Role
As a Software Development Manager, you will lead multiple software development teams and be responsible for project delivery, engineering quality, people development, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with Project Management, System Architecture, QA, DevOps, HR, and executive management to ensure software is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple software development teams and Team Leaders.
- Plan and oversee software delivery across concurrent projects.
- Manage resource allocation, team capacity, and delivery priorities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering leaders.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, coding standards, software architecture, testing, and security best practices.
- Review project plans, estimates, risks, and release readiness.
- Drive engineering quality, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful software solutions.
- Provide management reporting on delivery performance, quality, and operational risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 4 years in Software Development leadership or Engineering Management.
- Minimum 2 years managing multiple development teams or large software projects.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in software delivery, resource planning, project estimation, quality governance, and release management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
