Social Studies Teacher (Middle School Level)

Our school is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Social Studies Teacher to join our Middle School team

Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver Social Studies lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
2. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
3. Create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
4. Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.
5. Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning culture.
6. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress.
7. Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and school programs.
8. Contribute to extracurricular or character-building activities when required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education, History, Geography, Civics, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at Junior High School level (preferred).
3. Strong classroom management skills.
4. Good communication skills in English (active) and Bahasa Indonesia.
5. Passionate about teaching and student development.
6. Responsible, disciplined, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
7. Able to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
8. Willing to participate in school development programs.
