About the role
Develop and manage engaging social media content that aligns with brand identity, especially for TikTok, Instagram and Threads. Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and DMs. Stay updated on social media trends, viral topics, content formats, and trending conversations. Develop creative content ideas, hooks, and trendjacking content to increase reach and engagement. You will be highly confident and camera-ready to perform as a host or talent.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage engaging social media content that aligns with the brand identity, especially for TikTok, Instagram and Threads.
- Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and DMs.
- Stay updated on social media trends, viral topics, content formats, and trending conversations.
- Develop creative content ideas, hooks, and trendjacking content to increase reach and engagement.
- Use Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
- Perform as a host or talent on camera.
About you
- Proven experience working as a Social Media Specialist or similar digital marketing role, preferably in FnB or FMCG.
- Fresh graduates with proven ability are welcome to apply.
- Writing clear, persuasive text tailored to specific target audiences.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to identify and adapt to trending content quickly.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple social media accounts and content schedules.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with online communities.
- Good public speaking, high confidence on camera.
