About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic digital marketing team at our company. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across multiple platforms, with the goal of driving engagement, growing our online community, and supporting our overall marketing objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and optimise the company's social media accounts (e.g. Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create and curate compelling, on-brand content that resonates with our target audience
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media initiatives with other digital marketing campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and implement new strategies as appropriate
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with the management of social media advertising campaigns and budgets
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a social media specialist or digital marketing role
- Excellent understanding of major social media platforms and their respective algorithms and best practices
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to develop engaging, on-brand content
- Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Youtube Insights, Hootsuite)
- Hands-on experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail
