Job description for Social Media (Personal Brand) at Feel Fresh
Role: Social Media Manager — Personal Brand
Platforms: Instagram (primary), TikTok
Commitment: Part-time
About the Role
Manage and grow a founder's personal brand across Instagram and TikTok. Content centers on entrepreneurship (running a DTC personal care brand), day-job-in-finance life balance, and personal life. Tone is humble, funny, self-deprecating — not flashy or arrogant. This is as much a personal life-log as a growth channel.
Responsibilities
1) Content Creation
Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikToks) — cuts, captions, pacing, trending audio
Design and produce carousel posts (Canva/Figma or similar)
Turn raw footage/photos and rough ideas into finished posts
Write captions matching brand voice
2) Planning
Maintain a content calendar — minimum 2 posts/day across formats (video, carousel)
Pitch content ideas aligned to established content pillars
Batch-plan around founder's availability for filming/photos
3) Publishing & Scheduling
Schedule and publish posts at optimal times
Manage posting cadence consistently, no missed days
4) Engagement
Respond to comments and DMs in brand voice
Proactively engage with relevant accounts/communities to build reach
Monitor and report on engagement trends
Requirements
Proven video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) — portfolio required
Strong eye for design/carousel layout
Understanding of short-form content trends (Reels, TikTok formats, hooks)
Comfortable working from raw, unpolished source material (photos/video supplied by founder)
Reliable, deadline-driven, low-supervision needed once briefed
Content Guardrails (must follow)
Founder's employer must never be named — referred to only as "day job in finance"
No AI-generated images of real people (founder/co-founder) — all visuals built from real supplied photos + design overlay
Visual style must stay consistent with existing brand look (navy/blue palette, bold geometric type)
Nice to Have
Experience with founder/personal-brand accounts (not just business pages)
Familiarity with startup/e-commerce content
