GERAK is looking for a passionate and creative Sports Content Specialist to join our growing Content & Marketing team. In this role, you will be the voice of GERAK's digital wellness community, crafting compelling, high-quality sports and fitness content that educates, inspires, and engages thousands of active users across our platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and produce engaging sports, fitness, and wellness content across formats, social media posts, short-form video, push notifications, and in-app copy.
• Build and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with GERAK's product roadmap, campaigns, and wellness events.
• Write training guides, running tips, workout plans, nutrition articles, and motivational content tailored to our active user base.
• Manage and grow GERAK's presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms with consistent, platform-native content.
• Create caption copy, story scripts, short-form video concepts, and reel ideas that reflect GERAK's brand voice.
• Engage with users, athletes, and brand partners through comments, DMs, and community interactions.
• Translate complex fitness data and activity metrics into clear, motivating language for everyday users.
• Track and analyse content performance metrics and use insights to continuously refine the content strategy.
• Collaborate with designers, videographers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content for campaigns and product launches.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in content writing, sports journalism, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Sports Science, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Experience as an on-camera model or presenter.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and engagement dynamics.
• Familiarity with sports science fundamentals, training principles, and wellness concepts.
• Experience using content management systems (CMS), social scheduling tools, or email marketing platforms.
• Comfort with data and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid work environment.
• Genuine passion for sports, running, fitness, and active lifestyles.
Preferences:
• Experience creating content for a sports, fitness, or health technology brand.
• Background in competitive sports, endurance events (running, cycling, triathlon), or fitness communities.
• Experience with short-form video content creation (TikTok, Reels), scripting, presenting, or directing.
• Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and digital product content.
• Experience with influencer or athlete collaboration campaigns.
• Active participant in running clubs, gym communities, or local sporting events.
