We seek a Social Media & Content Specialist who can authentically capture and amplify the unique voice and mission of both of these powerful stories. Are you a Creative Storyteller who also geeks out on social media algorithms? Can you not only dream up a brilliant campaign but also jump into the edit to create the high-impact video that makes it succeed? You will be responsible from developing campaign strategies and pitching, editing, and analyzing the short-form videos that bring them to life.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Campaign Strategy & Pitching: Develop, propose (in a deck), and execute data-driven social media campaigns from concept to completion.
- Video Content Creation: Serve as our primary video creator, responsible for shooting, editing, and producing a high volume of engaging, "platform-native" short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
- Algorithm & Trend Expertise: Leverage a deep, up-to-the-minute understanding of platform algorithms (especially Instagram and TikTok) to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
- Community & Audience Focus: Act as the voice of our audience, monitoring social media trends, conversations, and feedback to ensure all content is relevant, empathetic, and valuable.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (e.g., engagement, watch time, reach, conversions), translating data into actionable insights and improvements for future campaigns.
- Content Calendar Management: Plan and manage our daily social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
- Must-Have: A strong, diverse portfolio that clearly demonstrates your experience in both social media campaign strategy and hands-on video editing.
- Proven Experience: 1+ years of professional experience in a social media and content creation role.
- Video Editing Mastery: Advanced proficiency in video editing software (CapCut).
- Social Media Fluency: Demonstrable, deep knowledge of all major social media platforms, their algorithms, and their content best practices.
- Strategic & Creative: You are an "audience-obsessed" storyteller who can connect creative concepts to business goals.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can confidently build a deck and present your campaign ideas to leadership.
- Self-Starter: You are highly organized, proactive, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
