Job Description
- 1. Monitor and analyze security events and assets on a 24/7 basis for both company and client environments
- 2. Perform initial threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential security risks
- 3. Conduct alert triage and initial investigation on security incidents
- 4. Create, categorize, and escalate incident tickets to L2 based on severity levels in accordance with SOC procedures
- 5. Execute initial incident response and handling based on established SOPs and work instructions
- 6. Gather, document, and report data to support cybersecurity incident reporting requirements
- 7. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on security events, incidents, and client environments
- 8. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for incident resolution and follow-up actions
- 9. Maintain and support client satisfaction by adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- 10. Provide regular updates on client requirements, issues, and progress to relevant internal stakeholders
- 11. Collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity teams to continuously improve monitoring and response effectiveness
Requirements
- 1. Proficiency in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) for identifying and mitigating security threats.
- 2. Strong analytical skills for evaluating security events and generating actionable insights.
- 3. Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment and knowledge of SOC-related tools and processes.
- 4. Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- 5. Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- 6. Ability to work on-site and handle tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- 7. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are advantageous.
