About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience overseeing on-site operations and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate effectively with all stakeholders and maintain smooth project progression.
Responsibilities:
- Project oversight, oversee daily operations at the construction site, ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordination and communication, liaise with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients, provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes.
- Quality control, conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plan promptly.
- Resource management, coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment, manage and supervise on-site workforce, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Problem solving, identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction, implement solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a site supervision or similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different site locations.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary.
