RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain the availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
- Define SLOs and improve monitoring and alerting.
- Support major incidents and lead postmortem reviews.
- Automate operational tasks and improve production readiness.
- Execute deployments, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Service Delivery, and customer teams.
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, and alerting.
- Support and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Lead postmortems and drive corrective actions.
- Conduct production readiness reviews before go-live.
- Analyze system performance and capacity.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Execute backups, restores, disaster recovery testing, and platform upgrades.
- Manage production deployments, configuration changes, and rollbacks.
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
- Support critical incidents outside business hours when required.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or System Engineering.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewall, Load Balancing, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and production environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible; Terraform is a plus.
- Familiarity with incident management, postmortems, and ITIL practices.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, OpenStack, or KVM).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
