Job Descriptions :
- Greet and serve guests at the gelato stand in a warm, professional, and attentive manner.
- Prepare and serve gelato according to Frutta’s product standards, ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and hygiene.
- Explain available gelato flavors, ingredients, and toppings clearly and engagingly to guests in fluent English.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gelato station, including utensils, display, and freezer equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock gelato, cones, cups, and toppings as needed throughout service.
- Assist with basic transactions or coordinate with the hotel’s cashier system, depending on operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the hotel’s F&B team and Frutta management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Promptly report any guest feedback, stock shortages, or equipment issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Follow all SOPs, particularly in terms of service quality, hygiene, and guest interaction.
- Be flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and during special hotel events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school graduate (SMA/SMK), preferably with a background in hospitality or F&B.
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service or F&B roles; prior experience in dessert/gelato service is a plus.
- Fluent in English — required for clear guest communication in an international hotel environment.
- Friendly, service-oriented, and able to represent the Frutta brand professionally.
- Familiarity with food hygiene standards and gelato handling best practices.
- Well-groomed, punctual, and maintains high personal and professional standards.
- Willing to work in outdoor environments (poolside) and adapt to weather conditions.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and dependable in following shift schedules, including evening and weekend shifts.
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest experience.
