BRIQ Bistro is Hiring — Server Barista
The Barista Server is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage and table service in a semi fine dining environment. This role combines professional coffee preparation skills with attentive guest service, ensuring high-quality beverages and a refined dining experience aligned with restaurant standards.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation (Barista Duties)
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages according to recipe standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature.
- Calibrate coffee machines and grinders daily.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bar supplies.
- Create seasonal or signature coffee beverages when required.
Guest Service (Floor Duties)
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
- Present menu and explain beverage selections, including coffee origins and flavor profiles.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
- Serve food and beverages following semi fine dining service sequence.
- Check guest satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
- Handle billing and payment processing accurately.
Operational Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare service area before opening (mise en place).
- Polish glassware and maintain service equipment.
- Coordinate smoothly with kitchen and floor team.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Support team members during busy periods.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years experience as Barista or Server, in semi fine dining or upscale café/bistro preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques (espresso, manual brew, milk texturing).
- Basic understanding of latte art is preferred.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Familiar with POS system.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage pairing is an advantage.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
