About The Role
SEO specialists are marketing professionals who use research and analysis to improve a website's ranking on search engines like Google. They find the most popular and relevant keywords used in search engine queries and insert them into websites, helping search engines find those sites and display them to web users. SEO specialists can work in digital marketing agencies or at in-house marketing departments.
Job Descriptions :
• Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion, and optimization to use throughout the VCGamers website (Marketplace & News)
• Make a long-term keywords plan and optimize it for on-page & off-page, then develop and implement link building strategy to improve search engine visibility
• Recommend improvements to crawling, indexing, website architecture, internal linking structure, content, and other factors to improve SEO performance
• Stay abreast of gaming industry trends and practice the best in SEO
• Research and analyze competitor
• Collaborate intensively with cross-functional departments to make sure everything goes according to plan
• Together with content team determine potential and competitive keywords for article and content creation
• Track, analyze and make weekly & monthly reports of performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
Job Requirements :
• Minimum 1 year experience as SEO Specialist on Startup/Tech Company
• Have proven experience/certification in managing SEO is a must
• Experienced in Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Data Studio, HTML, CSS, Javascript & CMS Platform
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO techniques (on-page, off-page, & other technical SEO)
• Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
• Working knowledge of SEO Tools like ahrefs, semrush, moz, etc
• Proficiency in Google Sheet/Microsoft office
