About the role:
What You’ll Own
1) High-Intent Page Editing & Publishing (English)
You will take founder notes, internal drafts, and rough outlines and turn them into polished, production-ready pages, including:
- High quality blog posts
- Solution and use-case pages
- Problem-aware and product-aware landing pages
- Vendor comparison pages (MapTrack vs X)
- “Alternative to X” pages
Each page must be:
- Clear, specific, and buyer-focused
- Structured correctly (H1/H2/H3, scannable sections, FAQs, tables)
- Consistent with MapTrack’s positioning, terminology, and voice
- Evidence-based and accurate (no invented claims)
- Ready for SEO, AEO, and GEO visibility
2) Blog Content That Supports Rankings & Pipeline
- You will research, edit, and publish practical articles that:
- Support bottom-funnel pages via internal links
- Answer real buyer questions (templates, checklists, SOPs, comparisons, how-to guides)
- Are written in a credible operator tone, not generic marketing fluff
- Examples:
- Templates and checklists
- Process and workflow guides
- Comparison and decision frameworks
- Practical “how to implement” content
3) Proof Asset Packaging (Credibility Layer)
- You will help maintain and reuse a structured proof library, including:
- Product screenshots and GIF callouts
- Mini case snippets and outcomes from founder notes or customer feedback
- Trust and credibility blocks (implementation approach, pricing logic, offline workflows, reliability claims)
- These assets are reused across:
- SEO pages
- Blog content
- Outreach pitches
- Third-party placements
4) Link Building, List Placements & Digital PR
You will run relevance-first outreach to earn placements and backlinks, including:
- “Top X vendors” and “best software” list articles
- Editorial blogs and publications
- Partner directories and ecosystem listings
- High-quality SaaS directories (no spam)
- Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a target list (sites, writers, editors)
- Pitch MapTrack with a strong, accurate vendor profile
- Follow up consistently and track outcomes in a simple CRM sheet
- Coordinate with our Technical SEO specialist on:
- Destination pages
- Anchor text guidance
- Priority URLs
5) AEO & GEO Content Publishing (Editor / Publisher Role)
- You will support Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization by:
- Formatting content to be easily cited by AI answers (clear definitions, lists, FAQs, summaries)
- Publishing and repurposing content on third-party platforms, such as:
- Medium
- Reddit (where appropriate and value-driven)
- Community forums
- Q&A or knowledge platforms
Ensuring consistent messaging across owned and third-party channels
This role focuses on content quality, clarity, and distribution, not algorithm manipulation.
6) Content Operations & Cadence
You will:
- Maintain a content backlog and status board (Notion or Sheets)
- Ship content consistently every week
- Follow templates, checklists, and quality standards
- Coordinate with:
- Technical SEO specialist (internal linking strategy, technical foundations)
- Head of Digital (CRO, PPC alignment, analytics insights)
What You Will NOT Own
- Technical SEO implementation or site architecture
- PPC strategy or analytics ownership
- Final authority on product claims or positioning (owned by founders)

- Publish-ready pages shipped per month

Core Requirements
- Strong written English (professional editing and writing standard)
- Proven experience with SEO content editing and publishing
- Comfortable publishing in WordPress or similar CMS
- Strong understanding of:
- On-page SEO fundamentals
- Content structure for AEO and AI search visibility
- Comfortable with outreach via email and LinkedIn
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
General SEO, AEO & GEO Skillset (Required)
