About MixWork & Our Client
MixWork Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based HR outsourcing partner providing Employer of Record, BPO and talent acquisition services across South East Asia. We hold the employment relationship and handle compliance, payroll and HR administration, so that our clients can build offshore teams without setting up a local entity.
Our client is a Singapore-based boutique pilates and wellness studio serving a local membership base. They are bringing their search and content marketing in-house and want a specialist to own it, alongside putting a measurable structure behind their social media activity.
Role Summary
This is a hands-on role weighted towards SEO and content, with a smaller but meaningful share going to social media and analytics. On the search side you will plan and write the blog content, research and validate backlinks, and agree a keyword direction with the founder. On the social side you will start by reviewing what has already been posted and advertised, report on what worked and what did not, and set up a regular report with measurable KPIs so that each cycle builds on the last.
You will report directly to the founder, with a short line between a recommendation and a decision. You are expected to propose the approach, explain your reasoning, and run the plan without daily instruction. The balance between search and social may shift over time depending on which channel performs better.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and write blog posts every month, mapped against a keyword strategy you propose and agree with the founder.
- Run keyword research, clustering and search intent mapping using SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Research, propose and validate relevant backlinks, and carry out outreach where needed.
- Apply on-page SEO to new and existing content.
- Plan and produce social media content, primarily for Instagram, working with the brand assets provided.
- Review past organic and paid social activity, assess how it performed, and give a clear read on what should change.
- Extract and track performance data from Google Search Console and Meta Business Suite.
- Produce a regular performance report against a consistent set of KPIs, carried forward from one reporting cycle to the next rather than rebuilt each time.
- Set out a one to two month forward work plan and track it in a project management tool so progress is visible against tasks.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, with hands-on SEO and content work.
- Able to run SEO and blog production end to end, from keyword selection through to published posts.
- Practical working experience with SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong long-form writing and editing in English for organic search.
- Working knowledge of social media analytics, and able to turn the numbers into a clear recommendation.
- Able to build a KPI framework and report against it consistently week to week.
- Comfortable planning and tracking work in a project management tool such as Asana, Trello, ClickUp or Notion.
- Able to work independently. You will not receive daily instructions and will be expected to deliver between check-ins.
- Reliable and responsible, comfortable owning a function rather than waiting to be assigned tasks.
- Able to explain your reasoning and defend your recommendations in plain language to senior stakeholders.
- Professional English, written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Background in fitness, wellness, boutique studio, or consumer lifestyle brands.
- Experience marketing to a Singapore or wider South East Asian audience.
- Familiarity with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation for a physical studio location.
- Basic design or short-form video editing capability.
- Experience establishing a marketing function from scratch in a small or founder-led business.

- Full Legal Compliance: The employment contract will be managed under MixWork Indonesia, with full adherence to prevailing Indonesian labour law, including Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower and its subsequent amendments. Final statutory contract language is subject to review by qualified local legal counsel.
- Healthcare & Social Security: Enrolment in BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in accordance with statutory requirements.
