Senior Steward (Bumi Aki Heritage Bandung)

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Steward to support daily stewarding operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in our kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Jobdesc:

• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, pantry, dishwashing, and storage areas according to SOP

• Support daily stewarding operations during assigned shifts

• Manage dishwashing flow to maintain operational efficiency

• Assist in maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards

• Conduct daily cleanliness checks of working areas and equipment

• Monitor proper usage of cleaning chemicals and stewarding tools

• Help guide and coordinate Steward Staff in daily task assignments

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards (PPE usage, safe equipment handling)

• Coordinate with Kitchen team regarding operational needs

• Report equipment issues or cleanliness concerns to Supervisor / Leader

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Steward (experience as Senior Steward is preferred)

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry (Asian / Indonesian restaurant background is a plus)

• Good understanding of hygiene and kitchen sanitation standards

• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and responsible

• Able to work independently and support team coordination

• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
