The Junior Solutions Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development of solutions to meet clients' needs, as well as guiding clients through the installation and implementation. Daily tasks will include leading technical demonstrations, identifying customer requirements and needs, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.

Presales Activity:

Supporting Channel & Product Manager to do a presentation on customer or partner.

Provide solutions for customers or partners based on our solution.

Design customized technology solutions that address client challenges and enhance business processes.

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements

Provide bill of material for pricing to support Channel & Product Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Sales Support: Provide technical expertise to the sales team, assisting with all stages of the sales process.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges related to network visibility and security.
• Solution Design: Design and present tailored Gigamon solutions that address customer needs and demonstrate the value proposition.
• Product Demonstrations: Develop and deliver engaging and informative product demonstrations, showcasing Gigamon's capabilities and benefits.
• Technical Presentations: Create and deliver technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
• RFP/RFI Responses: Prepare accurate and comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), focusing on the technical aspects.
• Proof-of-Concept (POC) Management: Manage and execute successful POCs, demonstrating the effectiveness of Gigamon solutions in customer environments.
• Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on competitive offerings and articulate Gigamon's differentiators.
• Technical Training: Provide technical training and support to the sales team.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at customer organizations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure customer success.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest Gigamon products, features, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• [Number] years of experience in a presales engineering role, preferably with a focus on network visibility and security solutions.
• Direct experience with Gigamon products and solutions is highly desired.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, network protocols).
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
