Senior Software Engineer

Kanggo is a digital platform that provides building repair, maintenance, and renovation services in one application. Founded in 2020, Kanggo has delivered 25+ service solutions supported by 2,000+ professional workers (Tukang Jagoan). Currently, Kanggo operates in the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area and continues to expand across Indonesia. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior HR Generalist with strong end-to-end recruitment expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. This role will work closely with C-Level executives to support business growth through effective people strategies.

Job Descriptions:

• Working with engineering + product owners to design, refine and develop the product, from concept to implementation
• Main contributor in creating best in-class product & experience for our customers by designing, building, scaling, and evolving our platforms, services, and tools
• Communicate, collaborate and work effectively across cross functional teams in a multi-cultural environment
• Mentor a team of highly talented and motivated engineers
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications built
• Continuously improve code quality, product execution, automatization and customer delight
• Analyse, enhance and maintain teams’ performance effectivity

Requirements:

• You have at least 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications
• Hands on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives (Node Js, Golang, React Js, Vue Js, My SQL, Mongo Db, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Services GCP, Microservices, PHP Codeigniter 3, Flutter, Java Kotlin)
• Have hands on experience on one of this back-end development (Node Js, Golang, My SQL, Mongo Db, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices Preferred)
• Experience to Learn/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery for both Mobile & Back-end)
• Experience working in Agile Software development
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across distributed teams in a multicultural environment
• Delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs that glue them together
• A passion for quality and best practices but with a pragmatism that understands the balance between perfection and delivering value in a timely manner
• Mentoring more junior engineers on good engineering practices & share knowledge
• Experience implementing AI-powered features or integrating AI services into web/mobile applications is a strong plus.
