About the Role
As our Senior SEO Specialist, you'll be the driving force behind high-level SEO strategy and technical implementation. You'll work autonomously while collaborating with our talented team to deliver outstanding organic search performance for a range of international clients. What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Planning & Execution:
● Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for local and international campaigns
● Audit existing websites and identify key opportunities for growth
● Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis
● Perform technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GTmetrix
● Execute link gap analysis and content audits to identify growth opportunities
Technical Implementation:
● Optimise on-page elements including metadata, schema markup, and site speed
● Implement content changes to the website whilst maintaining the overall styling
● Implement technical SEO improvements across WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
● Leverage your understanding of JavaScript and CSS for advanced optimisations
Analysis & Reporting:
● Monitor and analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and other professional tools
● Provide data-rich insights and actionable recommendations
● Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and analysis
● Support account managers with client communications and project updates
Continuous Improvement:
● Stay ahead of SEO trends and algorithm changes
● Conduct regular campaign audits and strategy reviews
● Share industry insights with the marketing team
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience:
● Minimum 5 years of hands-on SEO experience
● 5 years Digital Agency experience
● Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO campaigns
● Strong technical, on-site, and off-site SEO expertise
● Must have experience working for a digital agency in Australia, the UK, or the US
Technical Skills:
● Expert-level proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
● Experience across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify)
● Basic understanding of JavaScript and CSS
● High level of English proficiency (written and verbal communication)
● You must be able to perform on-page content optimisations and write Blog posts for a range of different industries
● The ability to “Consciously” use AI to analyse data, perform keyword research and help with content outlines and idea generation.
