Deskripsi pekerjaan Senior Sales Engineer WASCO GREENERGY BERHAD

Role Purpose

To develop and grow WAT’s business in Indonesia by building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving order intake for turbines and related equipment. This role will be the front-facing representative in the Indonesia market and work closely with the Malaysia-based sales and technical teams.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• To develop and grow the Company’s business in Indonesia by identifying new sales opportunities and increasing market share for turbines and related equipment.

• To act as the front-facing representative of WAT in Indonesia, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC partners, and key decision makers.

• To identify and maintain a target customer list (conglomerates, private millers, industrial players) and establish a structured visit plan.

• To lead customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions, coordinating with engineering and project teams where required.

• To manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award, including opportunity qualification, proposal development, and negotiation support.

• To coordinate internally with engineering, costing, project, and after-sales teams to ensure proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with execution capability.

• To prepare and support sales proposals, quotations, tender submissions, technical clarifications, and commercial documentation in line with Company standards.

• To maintain an updated sales pipeline and opportunity tracking, ensuring timely follow-up on all submitted quotations and tenders.

• To provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and market intelligence reports to management.

• To gather and report market information including competitor activity, pricing trends, upcoming projects, and customer investment plans.

• To participate in weekly sales funnel meetings and internal coordination sessions.

• To represent the Company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer functions in Indonesia.

• To ensure timely closure of sales orders, including coordination of contract documentation, internal approvals, and handover to project execution teams.

• To coordinate with engineering and project teams on approval drawings, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring timely submission and alignment with contract requirements.

• To lead and participate in client presentations and commercial discussions, including negotiation support in coordination with management.

• To follow up with customers to finalise contracts and key commercial documents in a timely manner to avoid project delays.

• To coordinate preparation and issuance of proforma invoices in line with contract terms and Company policies.

• To ensure compliance with Company commercial policies, governance standards, and reporting requirements in line with Wasco Group practices.

• To undertake any other duties reasonably associated with the position as assigned by the Company.
