Deskripsi pekerjaan Senior Quantity Surveyor Rentaved
We are looking for a strong, independent Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of project quantities, costs, tenders and procurement on the owner’s side at Nuanu Bali.
This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who understands that good cost control is not just about checking numbers — it is about finding better solutions, negotiating better deals and protecting the project’s value.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, contractors, suppliers and development team to maintain commercial control from tender through completion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and maintain BOQs, estimates and project cost plans.
- Check quantities, quotations, unit rates and contractor claims.
- Physically verify quantities and completed works on site.
- Evaluate tenders and independently source alternative contractors and suppliers.
- Compare material prices and specifications and identify cost-saving alternatives.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
- Support or directly manage material procurement where beneficial.
- Control variations, committed costs, actual costs and cost-to-complete.
- Continuously identify savings and value-engineering opportunities.
- Maintain clear commercial documentation, cost reports and trackers.
- Work closely with the project team to understand the cost impact of technical and construction decisions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7–10+ years of QS, estimation or cost control experience.
- Strong construction background; hospitality, hotel or premium development experience is highly preferred.
- Able to independently prepare and verify BOQs and quantity take-offs.
- Strong understanding of Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of Bali/Indonesian construction prices, materials and labour rates.
- Experienced in tenders, contractor comparisons, negotiations, variations and progress claims.
- Comfortable physically verifying quantities and completed works on site.
- Strong Excel skills; AutoCAD/BIM knowledge is a plus.
- Bahasa Indonesia essential; working English required.
- Extremely honest, trustworthy and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and commercial integrity.
