Deskripsi pekerjaan Senior QA Lead – Core Banking Transformation PT Intikom Berlian Mustika

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in Banking projects to lead testing activities across critical banking applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing QA teams, coordinating SIT cycles, ensuring test coverage and traceability, and driving quality assurance initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Quality Assurance
    • Participate in Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Technical Specification Document (TSD) reviews to identify testing scope and high-level test scenarios.
    • Develop detailed Test Plans for assigned modules and applications.
    • Ensure complete test coverage and traceability between requirements and test cases.
    • Conduct first-level reviews of test cases prepared by QA Testers before submission to QA Reviewers.
    • Ensure test cases cover positive, negative, boundary value, and edge-case scenarios.
  • Test Execution Management
    • Coordinate and oversee SIT Cycle 1, 2, and 3 execution activities.
    • Manage re-testing and regression testing activities to ensure defect resolution quality.
    • Monitor daily testing progress, including test case creation and execution status.
    • Identify testing risks, blockers, and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and supervise a team of approximately 8–10 QA Testers.
    • Assign testing tasks and module ownership across team members.
    • Conduct daily stand-up meetings to track progress and address issues.
    • Provide technical guidance, testing best practices, and domain knowledge coaching to QA team members.
    • Escalate critical issues and testing risks to the QA Manager in a timely manner.
  • Defect & Reporting Management
    • Lead defect triage activities within the team and coordinate defect resolution with stakeholders.
    • Track defect status and testing progress throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare and present daily progress reports and SIT Exit Reports for assigned modules.Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience leading QA teams.
    • Proven experience in Banking projects.
    • Experience managing SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Defect Management processes.
    • Experience leading testing teams in large-scale banking transformation, migration, or merger projects is highly preferred.
  • Banking Domain Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of banking operations, including but not limited to:
    • Core Banking Systems
    • Payment Systems
    • Digital & Banking Channels
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Regulatory Reporting
    • Data Warehouse
    • End-to-end banking business processes
    • System integration points across banking platforms
    • Merger and migration impact analysis
    • End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) processing
  • Technical Skills
    • Intermediate to Advanced SQL for data validation, transaction tracing, and posting verification.
    • Strong ability to analyze and interpret FSD and TSD documents.
    • Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or similar databases.
    • Understanding of test data preparation and test environment management.
    • Familiarity with middleware, message queues, batch processing, and system integration concepts.
    • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar test management tools.
  • For Upstream Lead:
    • API Testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
    • Understanding of API architecture and integration testing.
  • For Downstream Lead:
    • Data validation, reconciliation, and ETL testing.
    • Understanding of data warehouse and batch processing concepts.
