Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to support strategic banking projects and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing activities, automation implementation, performance testing, and defect management. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Katalon Studio and extensive experience testing enterprise-grade banking applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate backend service integrations.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Analyze requirements and ensure complete test coverage for all business processes.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain testing documentation including test scenarios, test cases, test reports, and defect reports.
- Execute regression testing before production releases.
- Support SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking application quality standards and release governance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements, automation opportunities, and testing best practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or Test Automation Engineer.
- Proven experience working on Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, or Enterprise Application projects.
- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum and SDLC environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.
- Experience in API testing using Postman.
- Experience conducting performance and load testing using JMeter.
- xperience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, SIT, UAT, and Integration Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
