We are looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our development team. You will play a role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions for our talent and skills management platforms. This role involves integrating external software, building APIs, optimizing performance, and contributing to long-term platform improvements.
Job description
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems.
• Implement scalable data processing and transformation workflows.
• Ensure smooth integration of third-party matching software and other external tools.
• Work closely with frontend developers, AI specialists, and other backend engineers.
• Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies for efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture decisions.
• Participate in planning and building a roadmap for future platform enhancements.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Strong understanding of data transformation, parsing, and processing techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, including AI and DevOps specialists.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work on-site (WFO) in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
