About the Role
PT Kapit Mas is a jewelry manufacturing and trading company based in Bali, committed to delivering high-quality products through innovation, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a Senior Odoo Developer to join our IT Operations & Development Department. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and integrating the company's Odoo ERP system to support business operations. You will work closely with the IT Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ERP solutions, maintain application performance, ensure system security, and provide technical guidance to fellow developers while supporting the company's digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot the Odoo ERP system to ensure application stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain API integrations with internal and external systems.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Develop and execute unit testing to ensure application reliability.
- Optimize application performance and resolve system issues through bug fixing.
- Deploy applications and support module upgrades and migrations.
- Support ERP implementation projects across business functions.
- Provide technical mentoring, knowledge sharing, and guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an Odoo Developer with strong expertise in ERP development.
- Experience developing at least 10 custom Odoo modules.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git.
- Strong understanding of the Odoo Framework, ORM, XML View, QWeb Report, REST API, JSON/XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Nginx, Debugging, Unit Testing, Code Review, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and SQL Optimization.
- Experience with Odoo versions 8–19 and ERP implementation projects is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing ERP implementation, Odoo database migration, and integration with IoT, Payment Gateway, Mobile Applications, or related technologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving skills, attention to code quality, and discipline in documentation and version control.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively, communicate technical concepts effectively, continuously learn new technologies, and provide mentoring to team members.
