Requirement – Senior Mechanical Engineer
Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Engineering Design / Planning
Company: Engineering Consultancy / EPCM
Minimum Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Job Requirements
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience as Mechanical Engineer, preferably in engineering consultancy, EPCM, contractor, or design engineering company.
3. Experienced in mechanical system design and planning for industrial, commercial, or manufacturing projects.
4. Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, or GMP-regulated facilities will be highly preferred.
5. Good understanding of mechanical building services and utility systems, including but not limited to:
* HVAC system
* Chilled water system
* Ventilation and exhaust system
* Cleanroom mechanical system
* Plumbing and sanitary system
* Fire protection system
* Compressed air system
* Process utility system
* Steam, clean steam, PW/WFI, or other clean utilities is an advantage
6. Able to prepare mechanical design documents, including design criteria, calculation reports, technical specifications, equipment schedules, drawings review, and Bill of Quantity / BoQ.
7. Familiar with engineering standards and regulations such as SNI, ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO 14644, GMP, and other relevant standards.
8. Able to perform mechanical calculations, equipment sizing, and technical evaluation for mechanical systems.
9. Proficient in using engineering software and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Office, and mechanical calculation tools. Knowledge of HVAC software such as HAP, TRACE, or similar software is an advantage.
10. Able to coordinate with other disciplines, including architecture, civil/structural, electrical, process, and automation teams.
11. Able to review vendor documents, technical datasheets, and equipment specifications.
12. Good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
13. Good communication skills and able to prepare technical reports in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English.
14. Able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary engineering team.
15. Willing to support project meetings, technical clarification, site survey, and design coordination as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in pharmaceutical facility design, cleanroom projects, laboratory, hospital, or food and beverage industry.
* Understanding of GMP compliance, cleanroom classification, pressure cascade, temperature and humidity control, and contamination control strategy.
* Experience in Detailed Engineering Design / DED stage.
* Familiar with BIM coordination and clash review.
