Our client is an international software house based in South Jakarta, catering to both Indonesian and international customers. They specialize in website development, custom software development, mobile apps, and ERP solutions (Odoo). With two offices overseas, they have gained an international reputation in Indonesia, APAC and Australia. They also have extensive experience in providing IT outsourcing services and offer a professional, well-equipped, and comfortable working environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to develop and enhance digital healthcare applications using Ruby on Rails and AI technologies. Reporting directly to the Project Lead, you will work with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions and use AI-assisted development techniques, including vibe coding, to improve development efficiency. This is a hybrid position in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and AI-powered features for digital healthcare platforms.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and application components using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and vibe coding techniques to accelerate development and improve project operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
- Test, debug, and optimize applications to maintain performance, code quality, and system reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and development practices, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong full-stack development capabilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience developing and integrating AI-powered features or applications.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and frontend components.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to use them effectively to improve development speed and operational efficiency.
- Conversational English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or AI-powered conversational applications.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning pre-trained AI models.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, and AI workflow automation.
- Experience with healthcare technology, digital health platforms, or chatbot applications.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments.
For this position, the client’s budget is between IDR 15.000.000 - 20.000.000 gross per month.
