Key Responsibilities
• Trend Research : Study market trends, analyze consumer preferences, and build mood boards.
• Design & Sketching : Create original hand sketches or digital drawings using CAD (computer-aided design) and Adobe Illustrator.
• Material Sourcing : Select and test fabrics, colors, patterns, trims, and textures.
• Technical Packages : Build tech packs, specification sheets, and production guidelines for manufacturing.
• Prototyping & Production : Collaborate with pattern makers, oversee sample creation, and conduct garment fittings.
• Collaboration : Work alongside merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to align with brand strategy.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, fine arts, or a related field.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software, alongside strong hand-sketching and pattern-making capabilities.
• Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of garment construction, textiles, and the commercial fashion market.
• Soft Skills : Detail-oriented mindset, strong communication, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
