Senior Engineer (Efficient IP)

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services in an enterprise environment.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and maintenance of DDI systems.
• Manage DNS zones and records, DHCP scopes, reservations, leases, subnets, VLANs, and IP address allocation.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, redundant, and highly available DDI architectures.
• Perform migration and consolidation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services from existing environments.
• Integrate DDI solutions with Active Directory, cloud platforms, network devices, monitoring systems, and other IT infrastructure.
• Develop automation using REST APIs, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and other scripting technologies.
• Perform capacity planning, backup and restore operations, and regular disaster recovery testing.
• Implement DNS security measures, including DNSSEC, DNS filtering, access control, logging, and protection against DNS-based threats.
• Handle incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and operational reports.
• Collaborate closely with Network, Security, Server, Cloud, Application, and vendor teams.
• Support audits and ensure implementations comply with security policies and enterprise standards.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to relevant teams.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Network/Infrastructure, particularly in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, routing, NAT, TCP/IP, HA, and redundancy.
• Hands-on experience managing or implementing DDI solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting using tools such as dig, nslookup, packet capture, and log analysis.
• Good understanding of Linux, Windows Server, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Understanding of network and DNS security, including firewalls, access control, and DNSSEC.
• Experience with EfficientIP is a plus; EfficientIP certification is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git, CI/CD, and automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
• Good command of English for technical documentation and communication with vendors.
• Willing to participate in on-call and after-hours support when required.
