Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and translate business data requirements into technical solutions, including data source analysis, data mapping, data transformation rules, and data validation.
- Hands-on experience in Data Platform initiatives and Cloud Migration projects.
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives and providing mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
- Proactive and accountable in managing assigned tasks, including providing regular progress updates, coordinating with business users, following up on project deliverables, and proposing effective technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Platform, including services such as AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and other relevant AWS data services.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar DevOps tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, Data Modeling, and Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience in the Insurance industry will be a strong advantage.
