The CRO Consultant is responsible for guiding the strategic success of our clients' Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and UX consulting engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a conversion rate optimization vision and strategy - Own the conversion optimization plan, test design, implementation, and insights generation against the business objectives.
- Create and execute deliverables such as website audits, web analytics reviews, user journeys analysis, heuristic reviews, wireframes, information architecture reviews, task flows, user scenarios and persona development.
- Execute A/B and multivariate (MVT) optimization tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience and performance
- Manage the end-to-end experimentation process including hypothesis setting, test design, KPI selection and goals, test execution, results measuring and recommendations
- Develop, manage, and report on multivariate tests, owning documentation and tracking of all CRO action items and workflows.
- Conduct UX research through both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Be able to translate and communicate testing results and data-driven recommendations into an effective message, continually creating insights and value for clients.
- Recommend the right tools / methods to clients based on results (pop-ups, messages, chat/bots) and qualify users for sales outreach, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years driving conversion rate optimization strategy, B2B SaaS experience preferred
- You’ve run an end-to-end CRO or testing program from hypothesis to concluded experiments
- Extensive experience working with an A/B Testing or personalization platforms like Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing
- Experienced creating wireframes and functional/interaction specifications
- Expert in landing page development and experienced with landing page tools such as Unbounce or Instapage
- Highly proficient in web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- A sound understanding of the mathematics behind effective testing
- Detailed knowledge of CRO research methods (user experience, surveys, analytics, heat maps) to gain insights from web traffic
- Ability to lead technical and non-technical team members to implement CRO tests
- Creative thinker that is organized, detailed, and extremely collaborative with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously

- An eye for good web design
- Working experience with tagging and tracking tools including GTM (Google Tag Manager), JavaScript, HTML, advanced analysis tools
- Experience with data APIs and database systems, data modeling
- Experience working with platforms like Pendo to improve engagement and user activation
