At Sparks Sports Academy, we specialize in creating vibrant sports and activity centers designed to captivate children beyond the confines of schooling. We're looking for Junior Coach to promote our programs that encompass Gymnastics, Ballet, Futsal, Basketball, Dance, Taekwondo, Phonics and many more, ensuring all the kids need will be fulfilled by participating in our program!
About the role
As the Senior Coach for Sparks Sports Academy, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality coaching and instruction to Coaches and Junior Coaches in the greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). In this full-time position, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of coaches to ensure exceptional sports training and a rewarding experience for our clients.
What you'll be doing :
1. Program Design and Development: Plan long-term development strategies for children to improve their skills and performance in a specific sport or activity.
2. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of junior coaches and assistants, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and well-supported.
3. Coaching and Instruction: Personally coach children in specialized areas, offering advanced training and skill development.
4. Monitoring and Assessment: Track and assess the performance, progress, and development of each child, adjusting programs as needed.
5. Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and activities.
6. Parental Engagement and Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s development and achievements
7. Event and Competition Management: Collaborate with external organizations, clubs, or schools to arrange competitions or events.
What we're looking for :
1. Male/Female, graduated from Sports Education or related field
2. Minimum 2–5 years experience in coaching or sports operations
3. Proven leadership experience managing coaches/teams
4. Able to lead, mentor, and supervise Coaches & Junior Coaches
5. Strong organizational and scheduling skills
6. Comfortable working in dynamic, on-site environment.
