Senior Buyer Manager (All Category)

MINISO Indonesia is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer Manager to join our team in Central Jakarta. This role requires a strong background in retail merchandising across multiple product categories, including lifestyle, home living, fashion & accessories, electronics, stationery, toys, beauty, food & beverages, and general merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall merchandising strategy aligned with business goals, brand positioning, company identity and long term growth targets.
• Establish, develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships while optimizing product assortments to optimize sourcing strategies, cost structures, quality, and supply chain performance.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and customer demand by leveraging predictive market data, competitive landscape analytics, and historical sales performance.
• Designing pricing strategies, margin optimization, inventory management and promotional campaigns to maximize profitability, sales performance, inventory productivity, and customer value.
• Directing, coaching, and mentoring a team of merchandisers and planners across various categories. Set performance goals and build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution and implement action plans to mitigate terminal stock risk.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from reputable university
• Minimum 5 years experience managing multi-category merchandise in retail or distribution company as a Manager.
• Strong network with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and industry stakeholders of various product categories.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding business environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver business objectives under pressure.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
