As an Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, data engineers, and other members of the data analytics team, to gather requirements, develop reports and dashboards, and deliver high-quality visualizations. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing valuable insights to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and Data Visualization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
- Translate requirements into effective data visualizations using tools such as PowerBI and Cognos.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics models to provide insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide timely insights.
- Respond to requests from stakeholders for data analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on the findings.
- Identify and address data gaps or limitations that may impact the analysis.
- Implement user-centric design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
- Assist in training and supporting end-users to promote self-service analytics and reporting.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Collect and analyze large and complex datasets from various sources.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and visualizations that effectively convey the datadriven insights.
- Tailor the presentation of data to different audiences, ensuring the information is easily understood and actionable.
Data Quality, Collaboration, and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for data enrichment and improvement.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to integrate advanced analytics models and algorithms into the BI environment.
- Assist in the development and deployment of predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in BI tools and methodologies.
