🚀 Senior AI Engineer (Predictive Maintenance & Signal Processing in IoT Industrial)
We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer – Cognitive Maintenance for a fast-growing Singapore-based AI company, building advanced solutions for industrial sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, and maritime. This is a high-impact role where you will work with real-world machine data (IoT sensors, time-series signals) to develop intelligent systems that can predict failures, optimize asset performance, and reduce downtime at scale.
💼 Key Information
- Client: Singapore-based AI company
- Working hours: 10AM – 7PM (SGT), Monday–Friday
- Salary: USD $1,800 – $2,400/month, open negotiate based on experience
- Contract type: Contractor (no insurance). Not open for part-time or second jobs
- Open for: candidates at APAC Region (Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipin, Singapore...)
🎯 Key Responsibilities
1. AI Model Development (Predictive Maintenance)
- Design and develop machine learning / deep learning models to predict equipment failures
- Optimize models for scalability, performance, and accuracy in real-world environments
2. Data Processing & Analysis
- Work with time-series and industrial sensor data (vibration, temperature, pressure, etc.)
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis
3. Deployment & Production
- Deploy models into production environments with real-time capabilities
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve model performance
4. Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with latest AI/ML advancements and academic research
- Translate research ideas into practical, production-ready solutions
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams on data pipelines and system improvements
- Identify opportunities to apply AI within existing industrial workflows
✅ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in time-series analysis, anomaly detection, or failure prediction
- Proficient in Python (or R/Java)
- Experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Solid understanding of signal processing / industrial data is highly preferred
