Deskripsi pekerjaan
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Prepare sales, purchase, delivery invoices, custom clearance credit application, Letter of Credit (L/C) and import/export shipping documentation.
- Liaise/ coordinate with external parties* on insurance filing, claims and transport arrangements to ensure smooth and prompt delivery of goods, submission of supporting documents, payment to suppliers: incoming and outgoing shipment, delivery schedule, submission of Bill of Lading (B/L) for invoicing purposes etc.
- Provide and improve customer service through effective communication and problem resolution to support business activities; attend to customers’ enquiries on order status/details
- Monitor shipments closely to ensure order fulfilment, identify possible delays and communicate to relevant parties and follow-up on accounts receivable and payable.
- Monitor and maintain/process Traffic Service Operator (TSO) applications, Security Trade Control (STC) applications, credit control and ensure sales records are accurate and updated to support sales activities
- Undertake monthly closing of accounts and update market prices into an excel sheet
- Any other ad-hoc admin duties
* External Parties include but are not limited to, vendors, distributors, suppliers, freight forwarders, logistic agents and customers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: minimum Diploma
- Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience
- Strong organisational skills, attention to details, excellent level of accuracy and self-starter with good learning mindset
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environment
- Good oral, written communication skills and active listening skills.
- Able to work effectively independently with minimal supervision and with other team members
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures used in shipping will be advantageous (e.g. incoterms, contract administration, international trade administration, import/export documentation procedures, Letter of Credit)
- Knowledge in SAP (will be advantageous) or able to understand and learn new systems: required to use on a daily basis to generate documents and perform data entry

Saya melamar di suatu perusahaan, dan tinggal tahap terakhir saya utk ttd kontrak yaitu background checking. Dan ketika saya tulis gaji terakhir saya di sistem perusahaan tsb, saya memberikan jawaban gaji saya yg awal. Jd pekerjaan saya skrg ini, terdapat perbedaan gaji. Awalnya saya digaji 6jt tp saya dipindahkan ke departement lain dan gajinya dikurangi 1jt. Tp saya menuliskan gaji terakhir saya di sistem perusahaan tempat saya apply adalah gaji yg 6jt.
Dan salah satu syarat background check melampirkan slip gaji, saya terlanjur menulis 6jt.
Dan juga setelah slip gaji, dll saya kirimkan ke hr tempat saya apply, hr tsb akan mengirimkan email ke direct atasan saya.
Pertanyaan saya:
1. Bagaimana saya menyikapi perbedaan gaji terakhir yg saya tulis di sistem mereka dengan slip gaji saya yg 5jt itu?
2. Ketika saya bilang ke direct atasan saya sekarang ini perihal background checking dari tempat yg saya apply, apakah yg harus saya ucapkan ke atasan saya skrg ini padahal saya belum ajukan resign?
