Job Summary
BIASA is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the store and all premises, employees, customers, and company assets. This role involves preventing theft, monitoring store activities, enforcing security policies, and responding promptly to security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular security patrols in store areas.
• Check customers, employees, and delivery personnel and external parties/visitors as per security guidelines.
• Control traffic in the store parking area to ensure that guest and employee vehicles remain organized and do not disrupt operational convenience. Additionally, assist in directing customers when parking their vehicles.
• Report security breaches, suspicious activities, or unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire, medical situations, or security threats.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing deliveries to prevent unauthorized removal of goods.
• Ensure compliance with store security protocols for opening and closing procedures.
• Open the entrance door for customers as they enter or exit the store while maintaining a friendly and polite attitude. Always greet every customer who enters the store and thank each customer as they leave.
• Maintain daily security logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; security training/certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in security, loss prevention, or law enforcement is preferred.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long hours.
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Skills:
• Experience handling theft incidents and emergency response.
• Basic first aid and fire safety training
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours
6 days a week
Morning shift - 07.00 AM to 03.00 PM
Middle shift – 11.00 AM to 07.00 PM
Afternoon shift – 03.00 PM to 11.00 PM
Night shift – 11.00 PM to 07.00 AM
Location
Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kab. Badung, Bali.
