Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and operations.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Ensure timely incident detection, investigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Manage SOC Analysts (Tier 1–3), Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence teams.
- Develop and improve SOC processes, playbooks, SOPs, and incident response procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding security incidents and mitigation actions.
- Monitor security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and security monitoring improvements.
- Prepare security reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and incident documentation.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.
- Support security audits, risk assessments, and continuous security improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security or SOC operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership or team management role.
- Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, and security monitoring tools.
- Experience handling incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Familiar with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, or MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications are preferred (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, GCIA, or similar).
- Experience working in 24/7 SOC environments is a plus.
