We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Part-Time Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education based on the Cambridge Curriculum framework, ensuring an interactive and inclusive learning environment for our students.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a relevant field; or possess equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 1 (one) year of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity or prior experience with the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE / O Level / A Level) is a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, as the medium of instruction is English.
- Inclusivity: Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education, with the ability to respect and support students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
- Availability: Willing and committed to working on a part-time schedule as agreed upon by the institution.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Design and develop the Mathematics curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with international standards and institutional guidelines.
- Instructional Delivery: Teach Grade 8 and Grade 12 Mathematics using interactive, engaging, and fun teaching methodologies to stimulate students' analytical thinking.
- Resource Management: Create, manage, and organize teaching materials, worksheets, and other learning resources effectively.
- Student Evaluation: Evaluate and assess students' progress through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
- Classroom Management: Manage the classroom environment effectively to ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning space for all students.
- Communication: Maintain professional and open communication regarding student development with the academic team and parents if required.
