MUTIARA HARAPAN ISLAMIC SCHOOL (MHIS) is a private Islamic school that located in South Tangerang, Indonesia. MHIS is a Cambridge International School since 2012 and has been accredited as SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) School which was previously known as 'International School' since January 2015.

We support growth to become a good Muslim and global citizen we want our students to have strong Islamic characters. We value spreading good manners, praying together, understanding Quran and memorizing dua. It is important that our students build their senses of empathy through helping neighborhood, making donations and socially responsible to others. We believe that good Islamic values are learned by following them in daily life , therefore, our students will have good values, be open minded, have confidence and necessary skills to be global citizens. The Islamic education program includes daily Qur'an recitation and memorization. Our teaching sta includes well-qualified educators and Quran tutors to help students learn to read the Holy Quran. We help students cultivate an understanding of the verses they memorize and recite. Islamic studies also include the character education program, which weaves universal moral values of respect, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility and acceptance.

The Islamic studies curriculum provides generous opportunities for students to explore their faith and discover both the practical and profound application of Islam in their young lives. Our students get international certification that makes them easier to continue studies overseas and prepares them to work effectively in international environment.
