Search is evolving rapidly. Customers no longer rely solely on Google since they increasingly discover products through AI-powered search experiences like ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity, and Gemini. We’re looking for a Search Growth Specialist who will help Biteship become more discoverable across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
This role goes beyond conventional SEO. You will optimize our content, product pages, Help Center, technical website, and information architecture so that Biteship is easily found, understood, and recommended by search engines and AI assistants alike.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Content, Engineering, and Product teams to grow qualified organic traffic, increase AI visibility, and improve acquisition through search.
Job Descriptions
- Develop and implement SEO strategies (keyword research, search intent analysis) to increase relevant organic traffic.
- Optimize product pages, blogs, the Help Center, landing pages, and technical documentation, including conducting technical SEO audits with the engineering team.
- Optimize content for AI-powered search platforms (Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) to make it easily citable and recommendable (AEO & GEO).
- Recommend markup schemas and structured data, and improve the semantic relevance and entity coverage of content.
- Build topical authority in the fields of logistics, shipping, and order fulfillment, and create SEO-focused content briefs for the content team.
- Update high-performing content and ensure content quality aligns with E-E-A-T principles.
- Optimize information architecture, navigation, and user experience (UX) on website pages to support organic performance.
- Create dashboards and compile reports to monitor traffic, rankings, leads, and their contribution to the pipeline/revenue.
- Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Sales, Content, Engineering, Product) to integrate search strategies into campaigns, product launches, and bottom-of-the-funnel content (pricing pages, comparison pages, API documentation).
- Segment and prioritize content/keywords based on buyer personas or industry verticals (e-commerce, large enterprises, SMEs).
Minimum Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in SEO or Organic Growth, preferably in SaaS or B2B.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Search Console.
- Experience using Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with GA4.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with AI search platforms, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Claude.
- Experience using AI tools to improve content workflows.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Understanding of schema markup.
- Experience leveraging marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot) to improve SEO workflows, content performance, lead attribution, and lifecycle insights.
- Experience optimizing content for different buyer personas, industries, or business segments (e.g. e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, enterprise) is a plus.
- Bahasa Indonesia fluency (or strong familiarity with bilingual SEO Indonesian + English content).
