Mutiara Harapan Islamic School’s Semarang campus is looking for a dedicated and experienced Principal to lead our community. If you are passionate about high-quality education and holistic student development, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in an international school setting.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Education or related field
- Experience: 5-7 years of teaching experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or principal role at an international or SPK school
- Age: Up to 45 years
- Curriculum Expertise: Knowledge of Cambridge/Pearson and National Curricula
- Language: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (IELTS 7 or equivalent)
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience working in international schools, with knowledge and practical application, preferably of the Pearson curriculum including standards-based planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing a diverse teaching staff, setting academic goals, and fostering a collaborative multicultural school environment
- Experience in handling school operations, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, able to effectively engage with teachers, students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Proficiency with educational technology and platforms that support curriculum implementation, assessment, and school management.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies.
- Ability to ensure the school complies with local and international educational standards and safety regulations.
