Job Description
Develop, customize, and maintain SAP ABAP programs based on functional specifications.
Assist in developing Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and other ABAP objects.
Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP applications.
Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for ABAP developments.
Prepare technical documentation for developed programs and enhancements.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-go-live activities.
Fix bugs and provide technical support for SAP applications.
Participate in code reviews and follow SAP development standards and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including:
Reports (Classical & ALV)
SmartForms / SAPscript
Dialog Programming
Data Dictionary (DDIC)
Enhancements (User Exit, BAdI, Enhancement Framework)
Function Modules
Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting ABAP programs.
Exposure to at least one SAP module (FI, MM, SD, PP, PM, etc.) is an advantage.
Basic understanding of Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
English proficiency is mandatory (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in SAP ABAP development.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or Eclipse ADT is a plus.
Knowledge of CDS Views, OData, or SAP Fiori is an advantage but not mandatory.
SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
