About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our client's team in North Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, RICEF objects, system integration, and performance optimization across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP applications, resolving technical issues, supporting testing activities, and collaborating with functional analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable SAP solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SAP ABAP applications for projects and change requests.
Design, develop, and maintain RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
Develop and support SAP interfaces and integrations with external systems.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues.
Optimize ABAP code performance in accordance with SAP best practices.
Work with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Develop and support OData services, CDS Views, Fiori applications, REST APIs, and SAP Workflow solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Perform internal testing and provide support during integration and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with functional analysts and other teams to assess requirements, evaluate proposed solutions, and recommend appropriate technical approaches.
Manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain development quality standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP RICEF development, particularly interface development and integration.
Experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
Strong understanding of ABAP performance optimization and coding best practices.
Experience with OData, CDS Views, SAP Fiori, REST APIs, and SAP Workflow.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to assess technical proposals, challenge unsuitable solutions constructively, and work effectively with functional analysts.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to work full-time onsite in North Jakarta.
